Don’t be afraid! The thought of tight, figure-hugging clothing probably inspires fear in the majority of women, but it shouldn’t! Most body-con pieces are actually pretty flattering, due to the fact that they suck you in, smoothing out your shape. Still self-conscious? Try wearing Spanx (Jessica Alba swears by ‘em) or even high-waisted sheer footless tights under anything you feel is too tight or short.
Play with proportions. As I’ve stressed in previous articles, if you’re wearing a tight item of clothing, it’s a good rule to balance it out with an item that’s not as form fitting. Wearing a tight skirt? Try a colorful, loose-fitting tank tank top for balance.
Choose what to showcase. Sure, a tight bandage dress is a great option for a night at the club, but it’s not for every day! For normal wear, it’s best to decide what assets to flaunt and cover the rest! Example: if you’re wearing tight, high-waisted jeans, put on a short sleeved turtleneck! That way, you flaunt your legs and butt, but keep the cleavage under wraps for a classy look.
Go dark. Because these styles are so form fitting, it’s best to opt for a dark color if you’re feeling at all shy about showing your shape. Black, dark gray, brown, navy, and even deep purples and reds are all great color choices for body-con pieces.
Pick your pairings wisely. What you wear with your body-con is almost as important as the body-con item itself! For city chic looks, pair body-con dresses with bombers, boyfriend blazers, or jean jackets. If you’re doing the body-con thing in the AM (or any in-class hours!) choose conservative shoes–think balletflats or boots. Even your accessories can provide some needed coverage, so go ahead and pull out your scarf from last fall! It’s all about striking a balance between showing off your hot bod and keeping it classy.

Maxi skirt is a rather versatile item. It is great for every shape and when chosen right it can conceal women’s problem areas and emphasize her assets.
Tall ladies, who want to look shorter, should choose a maxi skirt in two colors separated with a horizontal line. Flats, a bolero and a short blazer will also help you create a shorter look.
Petite women should team floor-length skirts with tight-fitting tops with V-necklines and heels to elongate their silhouettes. However, it would be wise to stay away from prints and frills as these tend to make one look shorter.
Slim girls can try the trendiest design of a maxi skirt – pleated maxi. But plump women should avoid those. Plump girls should also be careful with clinging maxi skirts made of strong fabrics as these will make you look bigger and accentuate areas you would wish to hide.
For ladies with big breasts and/or broad shoulders we can advise to try maxi skirts with high splits to balance figures.
To emphasize her midriff a woman should wear a high-waisted maxi skirt which looks good with high heels. Maxi skirts help to hide imperfect legs.
Dark-colored maxi skirts can also create the illusion of a slimmer silhouette in the area of thighs and bottom.

How Not to Look Fat in a Swimsuit
Buy bigger. A common mistake is to go too small, especially with bikini or tankini bottoms. (Don't be distressed if you need a larger suit—swimwear often runs a size or two smaller than streetwear.)
Psych up for trying on. Shop in the morning, on a relatively empty stomach; avoid bloat-prone days. Self-tanning beforehand makes women feel more confident, Borish says—and arms and legs look slimmer.
Accentuate the positive. Put color and pattern where you want attention, dark solids where you don't.
Brighten up gradually. Although dark-skinned women can wear bold colors right away, paler types should start summer with a neutral like mocha or chocolate (less stark than black), working up to juicier shades as they get some sun.

select a push-up bra
select a push-up bra that is comfortable. Some push-up bras contain strong metal or plastic underwires that can dig into the skin and cause discomfort. Cotton push-up bras with soft padding are typically the most comfortable.
Push-Up Bra Without Padding
select a push-up bra based on its support. Some push-up bras are padded with air, water or simply extra cushioning, while others have underwires that create the look of a push-up without the padding. Some women find the padding excessive and prefer underwires, while others find underwires uncomfortable.
Embellished Push-Up Bra
select a push-up bra that appeals to your aesthetic tastes. Push-up bras come in a wide variety of designs and styles; some are simple, while others are intricately embellished with lace or beads. Simple styles are best for under t-shirts or fitted tops for a seamless look.
Push-up bras are designed to lift the breasts and enhance the bustline, increasing cleavage for a more voluptuous look. Push-up bras often contain underwiring and padding that helps create the appearance of larger breasts and more pronounced cleavage. These bras are considered the modern-day answer to old-fashioned corsets, which women also used to increase the appearance of cleavage. Unlike corsets, however, push-up bras are comfortable and won't restrict your breathing.
select a push-up bra that fits better. Get fitted by a store associate to determine your exact size. She will use a measuring tape to measure your bust and help you find the bra that will provide the best fit.
select a push-up bra style that works well with your particular outfit. Push-up bras come in all types of styles including racerback, strapless, one-strap and demi cup. A strapless bra works best with a strapless gown or tube top, for instance, while a demi-cup bra looks best with a low-cut V-neck blouse.Push-Up Bra Without Padding

How to Choose the Right Lingerie
The first step is to determine what shape your body is. Are you a pear, a ruler or an apple? A pear is a figure that is curvy. It's larger in the hips than in the tummy and has a smaller top than bottom. "Pears" generally have large thighs and rears as well. A ruler is a figure that is fairly balanced with little curve. Most "rulers" are very slim women. An apple figure is one that is much larger in the chest than in the hips and thighs. A woman who is apple shaped usually has a bit thicker middle but slim, tone legs. So figure out which figure you have first in order to determine which lingerie style will flatter your body the most.
Once you've determined your shape, the next step is to explore the different styles of lingerie that work with your shape. You should have a good idea of what styles of lingerie you are looking for before you go shopping. Also be sure to shop at a nice lingerie boutique for the greatest selection and quality. I personally like Victoria Secret and Fredericks of Hollywood. Here are examples of the most figure flattering styles for each of the three body types.
Pear shaped women should look for clothing styles that show off their body's curve and that play down larger thighs. Flirty little gowns that hide the thigh area are a great choice. Also look for sexy pieces that wrap or have rouching in the middle. This will break up your bust and hips and draw attention to your waist giving you a very sexy pin up girl figure. Or you could choose a two piece that has a lacy bra and a matching miniskirt or boy-shorts.
Women who have a ruler figure should find styles that add curves to their figure and break up the straight line. Go with corsets and bustiers to push up your breasts and pull in your waist. This will give the illusion of dramatic curves. You could also try a sexy pushup bra and ruffled panties. This will add bulk to your chest and hips while at the same time showcasing your cute little tummy.
Apple shaped ladies need to find styles that show off their breasts and minimize or distract from their middle. Babydolls look fabulous on apple shaped women. Choose a babydoll with a low plunge front and lots of detail over the bust area to enhance your great cleavage. This style will accentuate your breasts and the sheer fabric that covers the tummy will minimize any thickness in that area. Corsets are a good choice for apple shaped women as well. Just be sure to pick a long line corset, as one that is too short will make your middle appear wider.
The last thing to keep in mind is to be sure you choose a lingerie style that you feel comfortable and sexy in. If you don't feel sexy, you can't be sexy. Attitude has a lot to do with your overall look in lingerie. Don't buy anything unless you feel like a sex kitten while wearing it! If you feel self conscious in a piece of lingerie, you're either not going to wear it or you're going to be too busy trying to "suck in" or hide under the covers for your partner to enjoy the view.

Discver the Best Lingerie for Your Body Type
CHOOSING THE RIGHT LINGERIE
The first thing to remember is that no matter your body type, never buy anything that accentuates your problem areas. If you have issues with your stomach, try to find a piece of lingerie that is less tight and more flowing in this area. If you like your chest, choose something that is tighter and offers more cleavage, making that the focus of the outfit.
Buying lingerie can be more complicated than deciding on the menu for dinner. Getting the right size that flatters your body type can be such a challenge. The right kind of bra and panties can help you cover your flaws, accentuate your curves and make you look ‘fuller’. But how to decide on which is the right one for you? This is why we asked the experts to help us choose the right lingerie according to your body shape; so that this valentine’s you can pick something that flatters you and floor your partner!
Curvy
You have a fuller bosom and a round bottom. Lucky, aren’t you? Just the kind of a body men love and women envy. But sometimes, it can be a tough job trying to make them appear a size smaller.
“Women with big boobs should go for bras with demi-cups with under wire and have broader straps for better support,” says Mumbai-based stylist Pria Agni. But these needn’t be boring anymore. You can opt for pretty floral prints with lace borders. “Corseted bras or corsets with inbuilt bras work well under evening wear,” says Mumbai-based designer Riddhi of mapxencaRS.
“Plumper women should opt for panties that are like boxer shorts or briefs or bikinis,” Riddhi says. Boxer shorts offer you great support and will make your bottom appear toned in a dress/skirt. “Bikinis make your legs look longer,” says Pria. Delicate details like embroidery and bows look beautiful on your curves. But, you might want to stay away from lace on your underpants if you have a relatively bigger bottom.
Petite
You already know what a blessing padded bras are. What you don’t is that you can experiment with any kind of fabric, colours and with prints. “Small busted women are the luckiest as they have a lot to choose from- functional or kinky,” says Pria.
They can also opt for padded brad with a plunging neckline. These give you cleavage in an instant. Triangle-shaped cups will make small breasts look fuller too. But, small-chested women should stay away from conical bras as they will never flatter a petite frame. Those with small bottoms can experiment with different styles, fabrics and prints in underpants too. However, a bikini or hipster cut will look the best.
Lean women probably are the luckiest. “They can opt for a normal bra with under wire if they want to look their regular size and opt for a padded one to look fuller,” says Pria. Average sized women have a lot to choose from too from satin and lace to kinky and fun bras in velvet. The same holds true for panties, she says. Boy shorts look best if you are tall and have toned legs.
Pria Agni gives us more tips to keep in mind while picking lingerie
Always make sure you pick the right size. And shop for new lingerie if you put on weight. You don’t want the straps to cut through your skin and give you rashes and cuts nor do you want that bikini line showing because it is a size smaller, do you?
Go ahead, find your style and flaunt you body in the right pair. You will look great in anything you wear!

how to choose the right bra
1.Choose a style
Before buying a bra, decide what you need it for and which style is most suitable for the job.
Balcony or half cup bras give a beautiful shape and will boost your cleavage. These styles are not the best fit for women with a bra size larger than a D cup as they do not provide adequate support.
For more support, choose an underwire bra. This will also give a smooth line and a flattering shape.
If you have a fuller bust, a full cup bra is a good choice for everyday wear. It will provide excellent support and is especially suited to sizes DD and above.
Plunge bras enhance cleavage and are ideal for wearing under clothes with a low neckline.
2: Try a bra
Select the bra you would like in your size. Stand up straight and adjust your breasts with your hands to make sure they are in the cups properly.
Fasten the bra on the loosest hook. This means that when it stretches after you have worn it for awhile, you can tighten it later by using the other hooks.
3: The band
Look at the band that goes around your body. This should provide most of the support, not the shoulder straps. The band that runs around your body should sit horizontally just below your shoulder blades and not ride up at the back at all. It should feel firm and snug, and resist when you try to pull it away. If it is at all loose, try the next band size down.
4: The front panel
The wires running underneath the bust should lie flat against your rib cage and enclose the breast rather than sit on the breast tissue. The front panel between your breasts should not dig in, rub or stick out at the front. If these wires are lifting away, this is a sign the cup size is too small.
5: The cups
If your breasts bulge over the top of the cups or at the sides of the bra, the cup size is again too small.
If the cups are wrinkled, then they are too big.
The cups should fully contain your breasts and create a smooth line where the top of the cups meets your breasts
6: Compensate for changes to size
Cup sizes are not consistent. - the cup size of a 36B will be bigger than the cup size of a 34B. It is important to remember that if you go down a back size, you will need to compensate by increasing a cup size. And remember, all brands cut differently, so one brand's 34B may be bigger or smaller than another. It is always worth being fit for each bra you try to ensure it is suited to your shape and desired look.
7: Try on under clothing
8: Move around
Move your arms and stretch as you would everyday to check that the bra will give you the support you need.
Once you've decided that you are satisfied and every aspect is to your liking, you have found your perfect bra

Swimsuit or swimwear
A swimsuit, bathing suit, swimming costume, tog, bathers, or cossie (short for "costume") is an item of clothing designed to be worn by men, women or children while they are engaging in a water-based activity or water sports, such as swimming, water polo, diving, surfing, water skiing, or during activities in the sun, such as sun bathing.
A swimsuit can be worn as an undergarment in sports that require a wetsuit such as water skiing, scuba diving, surfing, and wakeboarding. Swimsuits are also worn when there is a need to display the body, as in the case of beauty pageants or bodybuilding contests. Glamour photography and magazines like the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue feature models and sports personalities in swimsuits.
There is a very wide range of styles of modern swimsuits, which vary in relation to body coverage and materials. The choice of style of swimsuit is dependent on current fashions and community standards of modesty, as well as on personal preferences.
Swimsuit styles
In western culture, men's swimsuit styles include boardshorts, jammers, swim trunks, briefs or "speedos", thongs, and g-strings, in order of decreasing lower body coverage.
Women's swimsuits are generally described as one-piece, bikinis, or thongs. While they go through many trends in pattern, length and cut there is not much modification to the original variety of suit.[1] A recent innovation is the burqini, favored by Muslim women, which covers the whole body and head (but not face) in a manner similar to a diver's wetsuit. These are an updated version of full-body swimwear, which has been available for centuries, but conforms with Islam's traditional emphasis on modest dress. In Egypt, the term "Sharia swimsuit" is used to describe full-body swimwear
